I’ve driven this stretch of road before, but never in the Cayman. What an outstanding experience this was. First of all, the quality of the road is exceptional, and contributes greatly to the enjoyment. There are many back-to-back hairpin turns, making it quit a jolting experience. The view of the ocean is awe-inspiring, moreso at sunset. Sunset is also a great time because the number of bicyclists has dwindled. There are enough pulloffs to allow you to “regroup” for a bit if you get caught behind a slower car.

The only thing that would have made this a 10 would have been less traffic (though it wasn’t terrible), especially fewer bicyclists. My biggest fear on these roads is taking out a bicyclist coming around a turn.

In any event, a truly awesome drive, one I am eager to repeat.
